The Collector's Edition can still be bought on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, but due to changes on Need for Speed's official website, it can no longer be purchased on the PC version. however, they also have a hidden in-game price.īecause these cars were set to being Collector's Edition exclusive, the following prices set are unused due to the aforementioned reason, which buying the Collector's Edition removes the prices and unlock restrictions from the Collector's Edition-only cars. Setting these to True makes them unpurchasable without buying the Collector's Edition version.Īlso, the Porsche Cayman S (987), Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG (R230), Koenigsegg CCX, BMW Z4 M Coupe (E86) and Dodge Challenger Concept can be made purchasable in the PC version just by changing the IsCollectorEdition field from True to False or deleting the field entirely through VltEd.

The Pontiac Solstice GXP and Audi RS4 have code for setting them to be exclusive to the Collector's Edition ("IsCollectorEdition"). It lacks an entry in the vehicle database (same goes for performance, engine audio, and Tier), and its bodykits don't work. Like the Superleggera, it's a leftover from ProStreet. The only leftovers of the Saleen S7 is the logo and vehicle stats. Like the AAA_AAA_AAA_01, it uses the Porsche 911 Turbo's frontend string, but has its own unused frontend strings listed as " 350z". The Nissan 350Z is a Tier 3 car priced at $65,500. Notably, in the Xbox 360 beta build, this car was used at the start of the game. It is also capable of having any spoiler variant put onto it. Its performance parts are all identical, meaning upgrades will not improve its statistics.

Just like the 350Z in Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005), it's unused here (but this time it's the 2006 model also seen in Need for Speed: ProStreet, as the driver model is Ryan Cooper's from that game). The Lamborghini Reventón is mentioned in GLOBALB.BUN in build 1.1.2.1, however it doesn't have a model nor textures. Its damage model is incomplete and bodykits don't work. The Gallardo Superleggera is a leftover from ProStreet. Its performance parts are always locked because the 300C is a Tier 0 car. The model is unfinished and certain aftermarket parts can be equipped. The 300C SRT-8 is a leftover from Need for Speed: Carbon. Its vehicle node lacks performance parts and engine audio, thus it inherits those of its parent the default, which uses the Nissan 370Z's audio and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X's performance, specifically. The Buick GNX's mesh consists of a low LOD Camaro SS model also from ProStreet. Inside the pvehicle node is one for aud_r8_stk_08_speedtest, which is a version of the Audi R8 4.2 FSI quattro with significantly greater acceleration and top speed than the normally playable one. However, there's a mention of its car parts and hood camera position in the GLOBAL.BIN. The DBS appears unused in the Xbox 360 Beta version of the game, but its files don't exist in the final build. It also uses the 911 Turbo's engine audio and performance tunings, but also has its own tunings which are unused.

It uses the Porsche 911 Turbo's frontend text, has the BMW M3 E92's bumper mesh, plus two floating plates on top of the vehicle with the Bugatti Veyron 16.4's textures.
